Booking a library space

Bookings are available during staffed hours only.

Spaces can be booked:

  • up to two weeks in advance
  • for a maximmum of two hours per day
  • 1 session per day
  • by students only

Using bookable library spaces


Spaces are for academic work only.

If you are more than 15 minutes late your booking may be cancelled.

Do not leave belongings unattended.

Leave the space neat and tidy.

Groups and noise

Group Study Rooms, Pods, and Technobooths are for collaborative work. If you are not in a group then your booking may be cancelled.

Check the space's capacity before booking. Groups making excess noise will be asked to leave.

Spaces outside the library

Cass MSc and MBA rooms

To book rooms at Bunhill Row Cass MSc students can use Student Syndicate Room Bookings and Cass MBA students can contact the course office.

Other Spaces

Students are welcome to use any empty, unlocked teaching room whilst the University buildings are open. You will need to leave the room if it is booked.

Groups and societies

Groups and societies wishing to book a room should contact the Students’ Union.
